This mini GPS tracker is 35 x 20 x 14 mm, about the size of a matchbox, with two magnets built into the back. Stick it under a seat, inside the boot or on any metal part of the car and it stays put. No wiring and no installation.

Which SIM card does it need?
A micro SIM with SMS service that works on a 2G (GSM) network. The SIM isn't included. Before you order, check with your mobile provider that 2G service is available on your line, because the tracker can't connect without it.
How do I see where my car is?
Send a text message to the SIM number inside the tracker. It replies with a Google Maps link showing its location. You can open the link on any phone.
Is there an app or a monthly fee?
No. There's no app account and no subscription. The only running cost is your SIM card's SMS plan.
How accurate is the location?
It uses GPS with cell-tower positioning as backup and is accurate to about 100 metres. Indoors or in an underground car park the signal is weaker, so the location can be less precise.
How long does the battery last?
About 12 days on standby and 4 to 6 days in regular use. It charges by USB, so you can top it up from a laptop, a wall plug or your car's USB port.
Can it record sound?
Yes, with a TF memory card inserted (not included) it can record audio when you send it a text command, and you can call its number to listen. Only use these features in your own car and never to record people without their permission, which is illegal in the UAE.
